Welcome to Fruit Gladiators, a wildly entertaining and addictive top-down view game made with pixel art, where you embark on a fruity gauntlet like no other! In this captivating game, you'll find yourself immersed in a world where you control each fruit gladiator, but your goal is to sacrifice a few to make the snake longer and more vulnerable.

Your mission is clear: navigate through the vibrant levels.  Each fruit you sacrifice adds to the snake's length, but beware, the longer the snake becomes, the more challenging it becomes to navigate through the maze-like levels. Your ability to balance growth and maneuverability is key to surviving this gauntlet.

How to play

The gameplay mechanics are simple and intuitive. Use the arrow keys to guide your currently possessed fruit through the arena, press Space to switch characters and R to reset the current level, carefully choosing which brother to sacrifice to sustain the snake length. As the snake grows, he becomes longer and faster. Will you have the strategic prowess to survive the challenge?

How is developed

Fruit Gladiators was developed using Unity by Stampede Studios, as their GMTK-2023 take. The game is built in WebGL, allowing you to play it directly in your browser without the need for any downloads or installations.
